Lets Clean York was established in 2008 by Sue Gamble and her daughter Gemma. Living in York at the time, Gemma recognised a gap in the market for a cleaning company dedicated to holiday properties. Gemma was involved in property and finance and she knew that beautiful and historic York was full of holiday homes. There was room for a company that not only delivered cleaning services, but also the laundry, key holder and point of contact for guests.

 

With properties in Hovingham and York Sue and Gemma worked together to build the business, taking on all kinds of properties from modern and minimal city centre apartments, to Victorian terraces, grand country cottages to park homes and log cabins.

Today with the increased use of Air B&B and the introduction of serviced apartments, the bespoke services that Lets Clean York offer are more useful than ever. With flexible contracts and bespoke offerings, they are truly unique in the market place.

Sue continues to run the business, based in Hovingham, but travelling daily through to York where the majority of the properties are. Gemma is a Wealth and Lifestyle Coach based in Dubai and continues to consult on the business as well as visit the properties to complete inventories and consult on improvements when she is back in Yorkshire.
